- 1 egg
- 1 ½ teacup of all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teacup oat flakes
- 1 teacup melted butter
- ½ teacup of granulated sugar
- ½ teacup of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- ½ teacup of chocolate chips
- ½ teacup of dried coconut chunks or shredded coconut
Put all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix them together by hand or with a tablespoon. Our dough should be soft but not sticky.
With a tablespoon, take pieces of dough and shape it into small balls. Place the cookies on the oven pan which should be covered by parchment paper.
Press them a little bit with your hand and bake them in a preheated oven, at 180 degrees for 18-19 minutes.
When they come out of the oven, they should be soft enough as they set while cooling.
