Vanilla cake with fresh strawberries

Few dollops of whipped cream and some fresh strawberries relish a simple, vanilla cake. Sprinkle with powder sugar and serve. Everybody will love you.

Ingredients

  • 125 grams melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teacup granulated sugar
  • 1 teacup fresh milk
  • 2 capsules vanilla powder
  • 250 grams self raising flour
  • 300 grams whipped cream
  • 200 grams fresh strawberries coarsely cut
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

 

In a bowl place the butter, the sugar, the eggs, the milk, the flour and the vanilla. Mix all ingredients well until you get a fluffy dough.

Put the mixture in a greased, small, non-stick cake tin and bake in a preheated, at 180 degrees, oven for 35′-40′.

Allow the cake to cool very well and place on a platter. Spread the whipped cream allover and garnish with the strawberries. If wanted sprinkle with powdered sugar.
