Love it or Leave it

Few days ago, I was having a conversation with a friend of mine, about the teen’s concerns and that reminded me of a great book of teenage literature “Love it or Leave it” issued by Livanis Publications.

A book, that touches all the contemporary problems of a Greek family “reflected” through three teenagers’ point of view.  The economic recession, relocation to another city, social media hazards, teenage love, a divorce in the family and bullying, are some of the latest “trends” that the writer touches in her novel.

How can an adult inspire some teenagers and help them through a difficult moment? How can a lonely teenager turns to violent behavior in order to fill his emotional gap? Why do parents getting a divorce sometimes turn their children into a “tennis ball”?

In puberty, the concept of time reaches another dimension, almost magical. Teenagers believe that they have plenty of time ahead and it just takes a moment or an unfortunate event to make them realize that they have to “live” every single day and that it is up to them to live it well.

If you have children in puberty, this book will touch you first, and then (hopefully) your children.
