Zucchini tart

Various tarts are an easy alternative as a starter when we expect friends or as a main dish for an everyday dinner. They are being prepared quickly and they are very impressive. Here, it is made with zucchini and provolone cheese proposing a delicate yet delicious taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 500 grams zucchini
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 grams grated cheese mix
  • 200 grams grated provolone cheese
  • 200 grams cream cheese
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper

Grate the zuchini on a coarse grater and leave them to drain. Put all ingredients (except puff pastry) in a large bowl and mix well with a fork. Place the puff pastry on a well greased tart pan and make small holes on it with the fork. Add the zucchini mix on top of puff pastry. Roll the remaining puff pastry so to create a wreath around the tart pan.

Bake in preheated, at 180 degrees oven, for 45’until tart gets light brown on top and the puff pastry is quite crunchy.
